As a veteran, I stand with my brothers and sister, who at one point, all wrote a blank check to our nation using their lives as the collateral. Our veterans deserve so much more than they have received.

Our state and our country must put the welfare of our Nation's most precious resource over refugees. The suicide rate amongst my fellow Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) Veterans is at epidemic rates, our VA Healthcare system often times pushes medication over true healing. At times the VA even removes the veterans compensation and pension benefit without a justified review. The homelessness of our veterans is at a staggering rate and must be addressed.
